MAY CIRCLE- MAIDEN @ WILDERNESSWOOD

Beltane is a life tide, it is a period of regeneration and blossom. Ostara releases a tide of passion and growth manifesting at Beltane, it is at this point in the wheel that life is full. In the wiccan tradition it was at this time a great battle took place between the May Queen and the Winter queen. The May Queen is Flora, the goddess of the flowers, and the young blushing bride, and the princess of the Fae. She is the embodiment of the Maiden, of mother earth in all of her fertile glory.

The Hawthorn marks the beginning of the summer circles at Wildernesswood. It is in May its flowers blossom. It has long been used as celebration, adornment and healing. It stands as a beacon of spirituality, integrated into ceremonies that mark life’s beginnings and endings. This tree serves as a bridge between worlds, its branches used in rituals to provide protection during transitions or as a means to beckon heartfelt love into one’s embrace.

This circle will be about celebration the fullness of live, the younger self, the season of the fae, mediation with NUIT the sky Goddess, the Maiden witch rite, ritual and connection.
