OUR BODIES ARE MAPS OF OUR EXPERIENCES, TRAUMA AND EMOTIONS.

We hold data within our bodies. Our bodies very cleverly accumulate these feelings, emotions, neurological responses and the reaction from the automatic nervous system.
We hold them. We search, disconnect, avoid connection to these roads within ourselves as a survival technique.

We hold our breath, we tense our jaw, our shoulders stoop forward, we over eat to provide protection around the areas connected to control and fear.

Internally we become inflamed, our immune system becomes provoked, our glands, organs and cells flare up and respond.

We hold energy in areas of our body. In the collar bones we hold wounds of persecusion and subservience. In the ears we hold the emotional energy of noise unwelcome. In the naval we hold the energy hooks to relationships (good or bad) and the ankles hold all the hips do, but are often tense and dense with support issues.

This is how my practice leans into science. I want it to. It is important to understand how physiology and "energy" are connected. Understanding leads to awareness. Awareness leads to introspection, healing and change.
